Overview: Cybercrime has evolved with a growing demand to comply with cybersecurity standards in the last few years. Regardless of the size or type of organization, the global reliance on technology has become a key determinant of the success of many organisations as well as a persistent target for cybercrime and system compromises. According to recent reports from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C., there was an increase of at least 85% in global cyber events between January 2021 and the end of July 2021. These include cyberattacks on government agencies, defence, high-tech companies as well as economic crimes. Additionally, international organisations specializing in risk monitoring (ENISA, CIS, etc.) classify digital risk, privacy, and security challenges as important risks organisations currently face. The Cyber Attacker and Defender (CAD) course which will be delivered by e-Crime Bureau’s expert facilitators will provide detailed and technical approaches to enhance increase network security, build upon existing knowledge in information security as well as prepare IT professionals to acquire internationally recognized certification in ethical hacking.
